About Us

We are Ian and Jan Linch from Maidstone, Kent, in the UK.

We were on holiday in the Maldives over Christmas 2004, we were caught in the Tsunami that caused so much devastation. Houses have been flattened, and lives lost.

We decided to help these people as we have been so touched by their honesty and determination and their belief in us and our mission to help them. In these pages, you will see how we intend to rebuild houses, hopes and lives, and perhaps make a difference in the  world we live in.

Take a look through this website, and you will see how our progress is doing. We have now rebuilt one entire village comprising 40 houses, 5 shops, a community centre and a school. However much remains to be done with many hundreds in the Kosgoda area requiring housing and this is what we need your help with
